During my time at Mailchimp, I’ve had the opportunity to:

Lead the design of a new in-app homepage; Leverage data-science to improve recommendations; Lead functional & visual accessibility improvements for our Inbox feature; Improved our teams’ customer feedback process; and more.

In-app homepage redesign

I led the redesign of the in-app homepage with a goal of increasing discovery & usage of our key features and increasing customer ltv. The redesign resulted in a 37% increase in emails created, 33% increase in automations started, and a 15% increase in imported audience lists.

Zero state audit & guidelines

I led a product-wide audit of our zero (or empty) states within the app, identified inconsistencies and areas for improvement, and created variants to test against our controls. These designs reduced friction to complete actions that are crucial to reducing 30-day customer churn.

I partnered with our data-science team to surface contextual recommendations, tested an upgrade moment in which we learned customers did not want to be sold to in that context, and designed a way for customers to see more relevant email content & design suggestions.
